A Visit To Nahariya, A Beach Town In the Far North of Israel!

Nahariya View

Where in the world is this? It could be so many places, Florida? Los Angeles? Nice? Wrong, it’s Nahariya, a clean beachy town on the Northern coast of Israel. My husband and I took an overnight trip to visit some friends and see some water! Ahhhh! Nahariya is just down the coast from Rosh HaNikra, a beautiful spot that I visited a few months back, here.

Nahariya Cement Balls +Beach

I just loved these cement balls on the pedestrian walkway next to the beach, and the empty beach!

Nahariya Boardwalk Signs
In the touristy area next to the beach, you won’t find Coney Island hot dogs, but you will find hot corn, french crepes and shaved ice!

Nahariya Beach +rubber tree
You might find pansies planted on the beach. and don’t be surprised by the huge rubber trees, you know, the same kind you have in a pot indoors!

Nahariya Iced Coffee +sunset
And just thought you should know, that if you order an iced coffee in Nahariya, it comes with a scoop of icecream and a cherry on top. Probably not what you expected, but I’m sure you’ll enjoy it just the same as you watch the sun set over the Mediterranean!

Thanks for the gorgeous pics of Nahariya! It is a wonderful spot, you’re right – although I do recall it being very windy every time we visited. I love that ice cafe – maybe I’ll go make myself a homemade version right about now. Have a great week!

Iced coffee should come with a scoop of ice cream and a cherry on top! And I love the pansies planted in the sand! Who’da thunk? Just lovely.

    Hi Batsheva,
This is the beach right on the main beach tayelet of Nahariya where all the bars and restaurants are, and the photo was taken on a stretch South of those bars.
More info than that, Im dont have, but hope you find a nice beach! One thing I can say about Nahariya is that it is clean compared to many other places in Israel.
