Paper Party Decorations Part 3: A Paper Globe Topiary Centerpiece!

Paper Party Centerpiece Topiary For The Succah

Yesterday I showed you how to make this beauty for a hanging decoration here, and guess what, now you can use the very same idea to make a really beautiful and simple topiary centerpiece! Honestly I just grabbed the nearest pot and square plate that I could find, you can do a bit more planning and come up with something possibly a little more coordinated…..? You can go elegant with metallic papers, or go bright and use a galvanized pail as your pot. And actually these would look great in tin cans too!

I simply wrapped a wooden dowel with  a strip of green paper, and then hot glued it to the bottom of the globe. This pot happened to have dirt in it that was really dry, so I just inserted the dowel into the dirt. You might want to wedge a piece of foam into your pot. I covered the dirt with a circle of green paper and added a few shreds of paper for some interest. Quite simple! You could make a whole bunch of these fairly quickly for any occassion. Just be prepared for all the oohs and ahhhhs!
