Make A Fun Nesting Dreidels Mobile For Hanukkah!

Little Tzaddik Hanukkah Nesting Dreidel Mobile Brights

Isn’t this fun? I’m returning to my modern design roots for this one! I was after all rocked in an Eames rocking chair as a baby, so I do have a love for all things spare and colorful now and again, (when I’m not obsessed with all things Moroccan that is……)  and after seeing huge quantities of nesting Matroyshka dolls this year, I think the “nesting” idea has rubbed off on me…and so I now present to you, The Nesting Dreidel Hanukkah mobile. (Which by the way can be re-worked after Hanukkah to become the nesting houses mobile! Just turn it upside down, make some new holes, cut off the little spindle and voila!)

And now dear readers, I have a little announcement to make, which I’m going to announce oh so quietly, as I’m just a bit embarrassed, well not embarrassed exactly, just maybe a bit shy about the fact that I’ve finally taken a teeny tiny baby step forward and I’ve opened an Etsy shop! Okay, don’t get too excited, or maybe you should get excited, because for now I’ll be selling digital craft kits, starting with the one you’ll need to make this mobile! Yippee! It can’t be too much easier, especially with Hanukkah just around the corner. So head on over to my spanking new Etsy shop here, and get a foot up on your Hanukkah crafting!

Oh my goodness, these are AMAZING! The colors….the shapes. I bet they are nifty looking as the breeze blows by! I could see these hanging in the window of a high-end design/architecture store. Or in mass, hanging above the lobby of a museum or library with very high ceilings. Or even just a classroom made by lots of tiny hands…..Ooooo!! Wouldn’t that be stunning?!
Gah, forgive me Sara, I’m getting ahead of myself. One piece individually is great on it’s own….sometimes my inner window dresser tries to bust out start spouting off. I can’t help it. I just have a hard time keeping a lid on a good thing when I see it!

    Shalom!
Lots of complements on this neat Svivon mobile- its shape and colors! Finally not the usual blue and white we always get for Chanuka in the states! here in Israel we like it colorful, like the candles!
    thanks
    Neomi

Hi Neomi, Yes blue and white really have nothing to do with Chanukah, and when I tell Israelis that Americans think the colors for Chanukah are blue and silver, they laugh!
All the best, and would love to see you on my blog linking party sometime with some dollhouse ideas!
