Welcome to Craft Schooling Sunday! Last week’s party was full of wonderful projects and a big huge blast of Spring color. With just two weeks left for Passover cleaning I’ll have to admit I’m a bit nervous about getting everything done while keeping things as stress free as possible. One great solution is lots of craft projects to keep the kids busy and excited about the upcoming holiday while we’re moving our gears into top spead! Thanks so much to all those who contributed last week, and looking forward to another great crafty get together!
I love these simple and lovely cookie cutter prints that kids can make, and that create celebrate explore then used to decorate spring memory books. And these fantastic cupcake flowers? I’m sure you can guess that they’re from our number one flower girl, Aunt Peaches.
Ever heard of dancing oobleck? Me neither, but you can do this super fun looking project with just some corn starch, a bit of food coloring and a speaker playing a sound test, thanks to Tammy over at housing a forest. And I think that these balloon bouquets from junkin junky are just super, and I’m so grateful for the instructions on how to make them, since I’m quite sure I’m going to use this someday soon! I’ll give you a hint, cable ties! And if you don’t know what cable ties are, well, it’s time to learn, they have many uses besides balloon bouquets. My mother even uses them to securely close her suitcase zipper, a great tip in itself.

I very often pair featured projects from these two creative crafters on Craft Schooling Sunday, because they both have such unique style and creativity. On the left, mich in L.A. made some really interesting jewelry from computer keys, and on the right, can’t stop making things went beyond her usual amazingness and made this faux Moroccan bone box using PVC pipe among other things, and including shoe polish! Amazing right?
And last of all, but certainly not the least, the most adorable tea cup chandelier on earth, thanks to Se7en, and a wonderfully simple chicken project that you can do with the little ones, from little family fun.
