Craft Schooling Sunday Is Taking A New Year’s Break

Dear Readers, Rosh Hashana is beginning on Sunday night so I decided that the party will take a little holiday break this week in honor of this important two day holiday.
On the holiday we will hear the blowing of the shofar and try to think only good thoughts in an effort to influence the coming year for the good! Of course we also celebrate the holiday with special meals and many hours are spent in introspection and prayer.

See you next year, and may you all be blessed with a happy, healthy and sweet new year. Shanah Tovah!

Shanah Tovah from Germany! Thank you again for your great last minute action table decorations. My centerpiece is ready, the named apples are, too.
    Just got to cook…

Hi! I hope you have a wonderful New Year. My children and I are studying Israel this week. I noticed that you use a lot of apples for your celebration. May I ask the significance? Our church has supported Israel for years, and our family would like to understand your culture and history a bit better. If you have any good resources you would like to share I would appreciate it. Thank you!!
