A Sweet Ship Captain’s Costume For A Seven Year Old!

Yes, it’s true, my cute little Sea Captain is wearing a costume that consists of a store bought outfit…..okay we didn’t buy it, we borrowed it from the neighbors! Nonetheless, with a store bought costume as a base, one can add so many fun details! Duct tape boots, a rope, and a little sea bird on his shoulder complete the outfit and he looks just as cute as can be!

    Awesome! Your son really looks cute in that ship captain costume. I can’t believe the duct tape boots. They look like they’re not «duct-taped». I’ll try it out for my son. I just hope it would turn out okay as I am not creative enough when it comes to planning costumes. My son wants a pirate costume though so it’s quite a challenge for me. I think I’ll just convince him to be a ship captain. 🙂

    Thanks Maria! The duct tape is really quite simple as long as you dont worry too much about making it perfect, you can do it! And actually a pirate is quite simple if you buy some of the accessories for the costume.
    Dont forget to give him a little bird on the shoulder…..you can look in my Purim archives for a simple pirate that I did a few years back. all the best!
