In my efforts to use up all my tiny bits of yarn, I at long last had a chance to use a 6.5 mm Tunisian crochet hook that I picked up a few years ago. And of course Tunisian crochet washcloths using cotton yarn are the perfect project, especially when you don’t love the colors of the yarn you have on hand!

The thick fabric resulting from Tunisian crochet is perfect for a washcloth or a dishcloth, and the small size of the project is a great way to discover whether you like Tunisian crochet. I have to be honest, I liked making these washcloths, but it did at times seem a little tedious, sort of like double the work.
To learn how to crochet this basic stitch, there are many videos and tutorials available online, I referred to this one. Enjoy. Oh and by the way, if for example you have two colors like brown and olive green that really don’t appeal to your sense of color, adding just a line of peachy pink makes the whole thing so much better, phew!
