Welcome To Craft Schooling Sunday!

Welcome to Craft Schooling Sunday! This little international linky party is a wonderful place to do some crafty armchair traveling, especially now that summer is here…..just one little word of encouragement to all of you who stop by without contributing, PLEASE join us, as we love meeting bloggers from around the world! While the features are overwhelmingly from crafters from the US, we actually had contributors from India, The United Kingdom, The Netherlands, Sweden, Portugal, Germany, Italy, Israel, Muldavia, Bulgaria, and The United States! And here are the features from last week’s party:

Driftwood boat craft,sunrise patchwork quilt

A gorgeous quilt from sewing lab, (USA) and adore this driftwood sail boat from my home is my castle (Sweden)

Tie dyed picnic blanket, kokodama made with pothos cuttings

Craftiments (USA) tried out the botanical art of kokedama using some cuttings from a leggy pothos, and love this tie-dyed picnic blanket from homemade interest (USA)

Knit bride and groom, handbag made from doily

Ginx craft (United Kingdom) is cute and clever as always with this knit bride and groom, and the little treasures (Muldavia) made this fantastic handbag from an unfinished doily that she inherited!

Crocheted fly curtain,crocheted flower necklace

The little treasures (Muldavia) also made this gorgeous crocheted necklace, and howling at the moon (The Netherlands) crocheted this whimsical fly curtain, something that I saw all over the place in The Netherlands, but never realized it was to prevent insects from entering through an open door, silly me thought it was a cute way to get a bit of privacy! Oh, and he curtains are usually made from vertical strips of oil cloth or fabric, preferably something cute and bright!

Crocheted pencil can sleeve,amigurumi dog

My world of colours (Germany) made this cute crocheted bobble pencil holder, and Rema designs (The Netherlands) crocheted this adorable amigurumi dog.

Flag painted rocks,perler bead bird

A sweet perler (hama) bead bird from howling at the moon (the Netherlands) and a fabulous rock painting idea from art club (US.)

Patriotic jelly bean jar,may layered cake

A red white and blue jelly bean jar from organized 31 (USA) is so much fun and so simple to make, and this strawberry layer (as in many layers!) cake from Winnie (Israel) looks downright etherial, and I don’t think it’s just because I’m off sugar, the photo is truly lovely! That is it for the features, what have you been up to?
