Its hard to believe that Rosh HaShana is just around the corner and it’s time to get crafting for this wonderful holiday which marks the beginning of the Jewish year and the start of the period known as the “High Holidays.” Meaning even more opportunities for crafting, especially for succot, which is just two weeks after Rosh HaShana! On account of having just arrived home after a month abroad, my holiday crafting isn’t about to take off at lightening speed (just yet) so for the time being I thought I’d inspire you with some projects from the archives!
Bubblewrap printed paper Rosh HaShana Cards is a great two step project for older kids!
Wine bottle vases for Rosh HaShana are so much fun to make with just some paint markers!
Golden apple placards for Rosh HaShana make great decorations and will last for years.
Plastic bottle apple gift boxes are so much fun, and great teacher gifts as well!
Or how about some apple napkin rings from tp rolls, some doodle drawing decorations, or even some styrofoam apples decoupaged wtih fabric strips?
And truthfully, one of my all time favorites are the stuffed paper shapes for Rosh HaShana, inspired by my own kindergarten memories! Thats all for now, I’ll be back with some crafts for Rosh HaShana just as soon as they happen….zzzzzzzzzzz. Jet lag somehow doesn’t mix with crafting, yikes!
