How to make painted paper daisy cut-outs in 5 steps is perfect right now! And lucky for you,m this post is the tutorial. The festive holiday of Shavuot starts Saturday night, so now is the time to get busy filling our homes with greenery and flowers, and I say go for paper! Whether you have time for a whole set or even just one sweet flower, give it a try, I’m sure you will love it. Okay time is of the essence, lets get started! And of course, you can choose to do any flower, and you might also like my watercolor poppy cut-outs, though keep in mind that Gerbera really works well because it has a long stem without leaves in nature, and adding wires around the stems as florists do, is necessary in this case and looks great.

You’ll Need:
- watercolor (medium to heavy weight) paper, the bigger the better for long flowers
- watercolor or gouche paint, I actually used acryla gouche
- pencil and eraser
- floral wire
How To:
- Draw your flowers, and maybe practice first, and google ‘how to draw” any flower and you may just find step by step instructions
- Lighten your pencil lines with the eraser (I did not do this, but I should have!)
- Now the fun part, paint your flowers, and make sure to use several shades of each color on the petals.
- Set aside to dry, and cut them out, so much fun!
- Add floral wires that wrap around the stems (and are in place of skewers) to give them the necessary support
As you can see below, I drew an oval as a guide for the petals for some flowers viewed from the side.

Paint those flowers, so much fun! Cut them out, below, and wow, they come to life!

Now think of all the amazing ways you can these flowers, whether for a holiday or special occasion, just because or even as an amazing gift that will certainly impress!
