Whether you want to whip up DIY paper candles for any occasion, or a cardboard chanukah menorah, the perfect finishing touch is sparkly candle flames in a few layered colors (possibly) and in a color that truly enhances your project! You might be surprised at what the color turns out to be, so be sure to have at least five or so colors of sparkly craft foam on hand to hold up to your project to see what works. The kids in my crafting classes recently finished making chanukah menorahs from recycled materials, and while most chose gold, cobalt blue flames and even pink flames looked amazing with some of the projects. And friends, ditch convention with this one to make your project especially festive!

You’ll Need:
• sparkle craft foam in at least five colors, like gold, silver, bronze, dark blue, aqua, pink, green
• toothpicks
• hot glue or high tack craft glue
How To:
Two sided flames generally look the best, so cut a front and back for every flame, and hot glue a toothpick between the two. Add an inner flame if desired, and use in any way you can think of!
Happy Crafting!
