Welcome to Craft Schooling Sunday, thanks for joining me here! What can I say, this summer so far has not been filled with crafting, except for of course the crafting I’ve been doing with my students, and we’re now officially on summer break with that, to start up again in late August, together with some new 3rd/4th grade students, which hopefully will be wonderful! In the meantime, I’m trying to decide what take along projects to bring for our travels to the USA, and while I feel terribly guilty, I may just not bring any sketchbook supplies as I haven’t touched them for so long I’m not in the habit and might just enjoy crocheting and cross stitch embroidery (yes, for dollhouse items) much more. Hmmmm? Then again, maybe the vacation is a good time to get back to the art, and I ought to just bring a minimum of supplies? Or maybe I ought to print the tiny knitted sweaters patterns I bought to knit for Maileg size stuffed animals, and concentrate on that, together with crocheting. Yes, I think that sounds like a plan, I can always pick up a few sketching supplies if they are truly missed. So bring on the tiny cable knit sweaters, so exciting!
Friends, summer is a great time for crafting, then again any time is a great time for crafting, so don’t get discouraged if like me, your summer has not been filled with creativity, just try to make the time, any time of year. And now, for the features from last week’s party, enjoy!
