A Crocheted Bobble Stitch Heart Potholder That Will Not Be A Potholder!

Crocheted Bobble Stitch Heart Potholder

With all the time and energy spent on keeping my active boys happy during their brief summer vacation, you can well understand that at last I decided to take some time for myself and crochet this bobble stitch heart potholder based on the lovely pattern that you can see on sew simmer and stir.

After all, it just wouldn’t be summer without some lazy afternoons spent doing something that I just love, so I just couldn’t resist. While I didn’t use my favorite colors while trying out the pattern, I have to say that I just love the results. And, since like the author of this pattern I could never bring myself to actually use something like this in the kitchen, I am hoping to use it as an applique on a little pillow, which I think will be just perfect, and could certainly be an adorable gift for a baby’s or child’s room.

Note: As far as the pattern goes, I omitted the bobbles in the corners, and I crocheted an extra border row.

Enjoy!

I love how yours turned out!! The light red-ish color you used is so pretty. Thanks for using my pattern!

Thank you Alex, actually looking forward to making some more in brighter colors! Maybe a little wall hanging with one heart and one initial would be great. happy crocheting!
