I have to confess, I considered tearing out this giant crocheted doily rug to re-use the zpaghetti t-shirt yarn, because the resulting rug was just a bit too floppy to use on the floor. Though of course I couldn’t tear out the rug until I got around to sharing the pattern, and whatya know, now that I’ve finally shared the pattern, here, it turns out that the rug looks fabulous on my newly white dining room table, in my newly white dining room and together with my new white Charles Eames chairs! Yippee!
Plus it really is quite lovely together with some of the Moroccan style details and Moroccan furniture that we own, and so the one postive result due to the fact that it took me a year and a half to share the pattern is that I now get to enjoy this rug myself, as a giant doily!
