Price Tag Sticker Candle Jars

Price Tag Sticker Candle Jars
Aren’t these neon price tag sticker candle jars fun? When I bought some rolls of these stickers I thought I was buying them for my kids. Of course my kids don’t have any idea that neon is “back” or that their mom really bought the stickers to satisfy that personal desire of hers for just a touch of neon!

Making patterns with these little stickers is just too much fun, so give it a try!

If you’d like to keep these jars for future use, I’d recommend a coat of mod podge or any decoupage medium over the stickers…..mind you, the mod podge will make your jars cloudy, on the other hand your work will last. There’s no guarantee as to how well the stickers will stick to the glass over time, depending on how sticky they are! Have fun!

And thanks to Design Sponge for featuring my price tag sticker DIY here.

oh, and I’ve just studied up on the whole Dreidel thing (thank you Wikipedia)- not only do I want to play with it now, I also realized that Yiddish is very close to German. I actually understood “Nim, gib, halb and shtil” 🙂 As a kid, I used to get chocolate coins for Christmas (Gelt is very close to the german word Geld for money…), and I remember how the stuff would almost pull my fillings out! And there is a specific holiday ornament that looks a lot like a Menorah, too. A sort of inverted V- shape candle holder (usually electric candles, sadly), mainly used in the window to (I suppose) block out the long nights. The world is really small when you look at it closely, isn’t it?

oops, I think the comment prior to that rant went missing. It was just an apology for being late to wish you and your loved ones a happy Hanukkah!

Thanks so much Steph! Yes Yiddish has many similarities to Germanic languages, though it is actually written with the Hebrew alphabet in its original form.
My kids love playing dreidel as I buy a large container of mm type candies for playing with, which is a huge treat for them. All the best!
