Fall Color In Israel: Pomegranates!

Pomegranites in Israel

Pomegranates are an amazing fruit, and watching the pomegranate trees in our neighborhood bloom and produce fruit is always an exciting process for me. Our coffee table outside was looking just a bit bare, so when a friend of my husband’s dropped off a bag of fruit from the tree in his yard, I was quite happy to whip out a Moroccan plate and make a little arrangement. Ahhhhh, the colors are just so brilliant I had to share this photo with you. No pumpkins around here, but red pomegranates, yes indeed!

Beautiful pomegranates! I {heart} your blog! I’m addicted to knitting and I am going to see if I can get that special yarn here in SA. 🙂

Thanks Trudie, I just saw this morning that there are other yarns similar to the zpagetti, and they are called t-shirt yarns. Truthfully, you can make some yourself without too much effort, though ready made is nice sometimes too!

Will take a look for T shirt yarn, I do have loads of old shirts of hubby that I can cut up and make yarn from, maybe not such a bad idea!
