Stunning Pink Amaryllis Bella Donna Blooms In Pacifica, California

Amaryllis Bella Donna blooms in Pacifica, California in August, and it was truly a stunning sight, as you can see! Two years ago I photographed Amaryllis Bella Donna In Oakland, California, and it was actually the first time I’d seen this very impressive bulb showing off its blooms. This time however, the quantity of flowers planted one next to the other was much greater and so the show was quite spectacular! To add to the uniqueness, the flower blooms with just a stem and no leaves, so it is hard to believe that it is real!

This particular front garden had two patches of these shop stoppers, not to mention that Brugmansia angel’s trumpet tree, wow!

So friends, if you would love some bright pink in your garden, that is truly spectacular, consider planting some Amaryllis bella donna bulbs, to enjoy year after year! And now, while I don’t have a summer garden that could support such a flower, I am interested as to how to care for them, so gotta run! Happy gardening or happy armchair gardening, which is certainly better than no gardening at all, right?
