Watching groups and flocks of birds, especially together with a stunning coastline and crashing surf is one of my favorite things to do! So of course we love to watch wonderful brown pelicans in Pacifica, California, (click that to see many posts on this wonderful location) and have enjoyed doing so from the window of our airbnb several times, and wow wow wow! The pelicans also give quite a show diving into the surf to catch fish, which makes the whole experience even more exciting. So, if you are thinking about an coastal get away, look into the wildlife and birds, especially, that you’ll get to enjoy, a total game changer!

The pelicas are on the large side, so you really can’t miss them!
This past year sadly we noticed that there were fewer pelicans (I read, due to a lack of local food), but hoping that situation improves as they are truly precious.
