How to make real/faux cross stitch dreidels on cardboard is not a mystery my friends! Purchase this new digital craft kit, available at my Etsy shop, and get crafting! The kit is packed with instruction pages, and many options and sizes for both dreidels and chanukah cross stitch sweaters, so there is more than enough to keep you busy for hours! And if you’re looking for maximum results with minimum effort, go for the “faux” cross stitch look, seen here, it is truly precious! And you needn’t choose one or the other, combine the two, just try to have embroidery thread and colored pencils that match. I’ll admit I didn’t actually plan that, I just lucked out given the vast assortment of art supplies I happen to own.

Can you see which ones are actual embroidery and which ones are faux embroidery? Here it is more evident, but believe me, when they are hanging as decorations it is quite hard to tell. In any case, don’t overthink it, just get crafting!

I do love bright colors, but I’ve realized that for a more elegant look in my living room adjoining partly open kitchen, color schemes that are neutral or vintage are so much nicer, thus the color scheme here was born. And I am so very happy about it, especially since all things cardboard, or coffee stained look just perfect.
Okay, lets make our homes full of creativity and light this Chanukah. And yes, my digital kit would be a wonderful group craft to do during chanukah!
