How To Make Elegant Paper Leaves For Crafting

These elegant DIY paper leaves for crafting are so simple to make and with amazing results. Use them together with paper fruit or flowers, or even on their own! While metallic paper looks elegant, you might choose to use green paper of some kind, recycled magazine pages or go with a color and use these as petals for a flower. How ever you choose to use them, make a bunch so you can get crafting! Okay, lets learn how to make these accordion folded leaves…….

Supplies For Accordion Folded Leaves:

• light weight paper, mine is metallic wrapping paper

• a glue stick

• scissors

How To Make Accordion Fold Paper Leaves:

1. Cut two triangles from a square piece of paper. The length of the leaves will be half of the length of the long side of the triangle.
2. Starting with long side of triangle, accordian fold the triangle with folds that are as small as possible.
3. Fold folded triangle in half, with points coming together, add glue to length and stick the two sides together to form a leaf!

Now go make a bunch!
