Welcome To Craft Schooling Sunday!

Welcome to Craft Schooling Sunday, thanks for joining me here! With Purim coming up next week, NOW is the time to get crafting and planning our mishloach manot, the gifts of food (plus other food related items sometimes) we give to friends, neighbors, teachers, rabbis, and those whom we need to thank! These gifts are traditionally given on the morning of Purim, but kids will bring them to school for the teacher, and we will often receive non-perishable gifts of thanks the day before. This year I’ve been spending hours and hours trying to hone my whole wheat sourdough baking, with some success, so I’ll be gifting tiny loaves of sourdough together with a super healthy quinoa/mung bean sprouts/veggies salad and maybe just maybe something pickled the healthy way, meaning with salt, for the healthy food theme. This year I’m doing lots of fish themed crafts, so the tags are fish shaped, and will share that soon! Okay, lets take a look at the features from last week’s party!

Love this clay hamentaschen craft from jewish moms and crafters

A fun cardboard fish cutouts craft for Purim or anytime, from creative jewish mom

A fun paper plate mask craft from Jewish Moms and crafters is perfect!

A wonderful DIY cloth tote bag with adjustable length straps, from sum of their stories, love it!

Super sweet tiny turtle stuffies with hand embroidery, from handmade by Amalia

Wow to this playhouse in a shed compiled using vintage plastic toys, from studio 27 by Jennifer Adams. A project like this is a great excuse to buy all the little vintage toys of your dreams, ha ha, kind of like my current dollhouse obsession that I’m trying to curb!

Another wonderful paper silhouette birthday card from handmade in Israel.

A really fabulous vintage jewelry box makeover, whose inside was worn red velvet……it is apparently a Goddinger silver plate box, nice find, thanks to apple street cottage.

That is it for the features, what have you been up to?
