When the pomegranate trees and bushes bloom in my neighborhood, it is truly a stunning sight, and I just had to share it with you! The vibrant red blooms, combined with the beginning of tiny fruit is truly special and I am inspired to draw/paint them……hopefully soon! Of course a pomegranate tree filled with ripe fruit is equally gorgeous, as are the fruit, so all around pomegranate is truly a gift, and I’m grateful to have a large bush in a neighbor’s yard to enjoy. Take a look at my photos, from close up to far away, including the ground with fallen blooms, and get inspired, whether through art or gardening, which I’ve been doing a lot of lately in my container garden and in a neighbor’s garden as well. Enjoy!

‘above: I’m loving this photo with the creme wall and cement driveway…..

Above: Who knew that the beginnings of the pomegranate fruit look like a six pointed star, wow!

above: Also stunning with a backdrop of burgandy leaves on a plum tree.

Above: Really wonderful that this tree produces its fruit in different stages, like a botanic illustration, not all at the same time!
hope you enjoyed my little slice of life!
