Rosh Chodesh Cheshvan, the first day of the month of Cheshvan, the only month of the year without a holiday or significant day. Yet everyday is special here in the Holy Land, as is every step we take on our sometimes parched soil. So while Cheshvan is considered a month of darkness, there is infact light everywhere if we choose to see it!
An overcast sky. Are those really rain clouds? Is that Thunder? Excitement, and the pitter patter of feet running outside to witness the first rain. New boots are pulled out of the closet, coats too. Rain, oh how we missed you so!
A feeling of joy, and gratitude. And one small request. May we have some more please, lots more?
