Welcome Back To Craft Schooling Sunday! (And A Roundup Of Reader’s Projects)

Craft Schooling Sun.Post logo

Craft Schooling Sunday is back! I've missed all the amazing inspiration and craftiness that happens right here, every week, and I know that I'm not alone. Quite a few readers wrote to ask whether I'd be continuing the party, having missed my notice that I'd be taking a break for the month of December. So for those of you who do link up, just know that you're greatly appreciated!

This week, there's no featured crafts, so I thought I'd share a round up of projects done by readers inspired by my posts. Some of these readers have blogs and some don't, and let's welcome them all with a round of applause!

Coffee filter raindrops+crochet pouches

First up is Moriyah's coffee filter raindrop project—Moriah is originally from Houston, but now lives in the Negev (Israel) with her family. Snow isn't a part of their life, so she was inspired by my coffee filter snow flake project and did her own wonderful thing! And aren't these crocheted pouches great? Tammy posted about them here, and she created these using my pattern for crocheted gift pouches.

Reader's Fleece projects

Christi just discovered the blog recently, but she's already made a great two color version of my no-sew fleece hat, and Helen Clyde's super cheerful version of my no-sew ruffled fleece scarf . Love them both!

Eggshell stars+ toilet paper tube wreath
These eggshell mosaic stars are also from Moriyah! (My eggshell mosaic project is here.)I'm so proud of her for doing crafts with her boys, and she says since she's started their drawing has improved too! So don't forget about those boys, they need crafts too! And the toilet paper tube wreath? That was made by Heidi over at moms crafty space and used as a decoration in her bathroom! You can see my very popular post with that project here.

Reader's felt roses
Remember my felt rosebud bouquet? It's been one of my most popular posts and inspired these bloggers to make their own versions: the elegant red and white bouquet here, the super cute wreath at cherry hill cottage, and the fall version at funky polka dot giraffe.

Readers Tape Roadway and blocks
Abby is a midwife and lives in Israel, and I'm always so happy to see her find the time to do crafts with her family. This is her version of my city street maze. And these wonderfully creative blocks? The credit goes to Helen Clyde again, who was inspired by my city blocks to make something truly artful!

Wasn't that fun? I'll be happy to do such a post again, so if you do create something inspired by one of my crafts, do send me a link or a large photo! Oh, and by the way, I've switched back to linkytools.com for the link up, it's a bit different and not quite as convenient, but inlinkz now costs for photo links, so we'll see how it goes.

Feel free to share a few projects since it's been quite awhile since we've seen what you've been up to, and thanks so much for coming!

Thanks so hosting the link party! I check your blog often, but I rarely get a chance to share a project because of work and school. Since we’ve been iced in for the past few days, it gave me a chance to sew and blog. I’m looking forward to posting again soon, hopefully next week!
