Welcome Signs For Passover Visitors

Welcome Sign For Neighbors

While Mommy is mostly cleaning and organizing and hopefully getting rid of unnecessary piles of stash, in preparation for the seven day (eight outside of Israel) Passover holiday, there are still some small acts of creativity happening around the house as we prepare for visitors! In this case, a small act of kindness to welcome some neighbors who live most of the year in England, but occasionally come to their home here in Northern Israel for the holidays. Of course my kids are especially excited to welcome them as they feel just a bit special being the only English speaking kids in our neighborhood who can actually communicate with their friends from England!

As I took a closer look at this cute sign my six year old drew, I noticed that all the passengers on the plane are wearing what appear to be clown hats. So I asked my son, are those clown hats? "Yes, because they're all so happy to be coming to Israel!" Now isn't that just precious, if I do say so myself?

That's all for now, off to tackle some more piles of stash….wish me luck, I have arrived to the biggest cleaning nightmare of the whole house— my studio, of which you will not see any photos any time soon! I know you probably don't believe me, but your could always ask my husband and he'll be more than happy to tell the truth. Though hopefully by the time you get to him that truth will just be a little memory (nightmare) of the past? Wishing you and yours all the best in tackling and overcoming the things to which you've been slaves over the past year!
