Recycled Cans Wrapped With Rags!

Recycled Tin Can and Rags Planters

Here's a fun little picnic centerpiece idea that's just so simple and sweet. Take some recycled tin cans and tie strips of torn sheets or woven rags of any kind. Got it? These would be great little party favors, or centerpieces for any casual outdoor gathering. Plus you could use some on the buffet to hold the silverware, or fill them with sand and use them to hold the tablecloth down!

The reason that I had some strips of rags on hand is that I've been working on my crocheted rag rug the past few days, so hope to have some more progress to share with you soon!

That is such a great idea for picnics…and the blowing table cloths.

Thanks so much, truthfully it looks even better than in the photos!

Thanks. I’m going to do this with our camp. We have a rotating Mommy camp with each day having a theme of a mitzva based on different letters. I have hay, nun, resh, and shin/sin. I hope to make these with the kids and have them plant sprouts for nun. I just need to tie it in with a mitzva. My Hebrew is not so good. Now I’m going to look for your havdallah ideas for hay.
