Welcome To Craft Schooling Sunday

Welcome BACK to Craft Schooling Sunday! Sorry if you’ve dropped by and did not find this party over the past month, it has been a huge task moving this blog to a new platform in the middle of the Jewish holiday season, but now at long last it looks like things are up and running, interestingly enough just as we started reading the Torah from the beginning this shabbat, so new beginnings all around! Thanks so much for sharing your latest!

Love this aluminum cans sequin art from birdz of feather, I’m now officially saving aluminum cans, and asking others to do so for me!

Cute as can be embroidered bedding and tiny stuffed bear from handmade by Amalia.

A waterproof paper chain from Jewish moms and crafters, an idea to save for next year's succah? Or maybe use is this rainy season?

Adorable fall truck craft with pumpkins from Steph creates things

Decoupage with fabric from sum of their stories

Lovely handout paper wedding card from handmade in Israel.

Great lampshade upgrade with paper silhouettes, from sum of their stories.

Amazing healthful buckwheat soda bread from food nutters.

Fall sheet pan dinner from our tiny nest.

That is it for the features, and figuring out all kinds of new things on WordPress, phew, what have you been up to?

Thank you so much for the feature (and for hosting)! All the features are absolutely gorgeous, especially that stuffed bear, it’s soo unbelievably cute. Did you change the site theme? It looks wonderful, and everything loads so quickly! I’ve been thinking about doing the same, but I’m a bit terrified of all the hiccups and troubles that usually come with it.

My pleasure, and since my previous long time host Typed closed their doors I had to move the entire blog to a new platform and with only one month’s notice and right in the middle of the intense Jewish holiday season……I hired someone to do the technical stuff, and while he only offered a duplicate site of sorts, there wasn’t any theme like my previous. blog, so I ended up getting a look that is so much better. Still planning on another facelift, but for now need to learn WordPress a bit and get back to more regular posting. And yes, many hiccups and many hours spent on the phone between Bluehost and go daddy…….but now I’m finally over the hill and so happy about it, so truly worth it.

And much faster too! It really loads like a rocket 🙂 I suggest you check your Gravatar in the comments. When you reply, the name you are using is “Allimport”. I guess you just need to change the username. How much did you pay for the technical support? I can see people are charging up to several thousands for a theme change and I definitely couldn’t afford that.

Well done on transferring your site. I couldn’t find it for a short while but am happy to have done so now. Thank you for featuring my papercut wedding card.
