Ever seen a fun artful bow made from mixed rafia? Me neither, but after I received this very artful recycled card, tied up with a big rafia bow, I just had to save it, and finally I’ve photographed it to share with you, so lets delve into how to make a fun gift wrap bow with mixed rafia! I’ll admit, I did think that my friend had assembled this mixture, but did end up seeing a spool of it for sale in an art supply store, so my only regret is not buying some for myself! I googled mixed rafia and did find rafia in a few colors on a spool, which is a good start, one can always easily add other kind of colored string to the mix.

In this particular bow, there is regular rafia, and green and pink rafia as well, then there is blue, purple, orange, red and yellow string which i believe is also rafia, just tightly coiled, not loose. Truthfully this idea could work in so many ways with mixes of ribbons and natural string of all kinds, so have fun and tie up your gifts or even cards (in this case) with an amazing colorful and textured bow that steals the show.
