How To Make Fun Birthday Decor With Recycled Ice Cream Cone Boxes

Ever thought about recycling food boxes and using the photos on them for something? You are not alone my friend, I save ice cream cone boxes and use the photos of ice cream cones to make fun birthday garlands! While I just made this for my daughter’s birthday, I have done this in the past, even with cones from different boxes, which is even more fun! So friends, learn how to make fun birthday decor with recycled ice cream cone boxes and buying ice cream cones will become a whole new adventure in trying to find new brands with different photos. And best of all, cut out the photos and save them in a flat box for when you need them in a pinch! Ah yes, and save the photos of the ice cream cone pattern if you can as well.

I don’t think you need instructions for this one, but I do recommend buying some little cherries as they look so adorable, as does the black and white t-shirt yarn. And of course tiny or very tiny wooden clothespins are always the quickest way to go when making a garland for any occasion! See the tiny ice cream cone? That was on the side of the box, separately from the ball of ice cream, so I glued them together!

Ah yes, and if you want to make an ice cream themed party, you can use the cones as gift tags, or hand them mobile style, so many options, just have fun with it!
