How To Make Bookmarks For Rosh HaShana Kid’s Craft

Rosh HaShana is coming up on Friday night, but there is still time to squeeze in this fun wooden bookmark craft, so lets learn how to make bookmarks for Rosh HaShana kid’s craft and bring in the new year with creativity! While I shared my version previously, the bookmarks seen here are the work of some of my 4th grade boy students, who just loved this craft. In fact, they asked for more blanks to make one for themselves, as the one they made goes together with a card for the family/parents. And friends, bookmarks are not only useful on Rosh HaShana to use in the prayer book, but also alude to being “sealed in the book of life”! Okay, lets do it!

You’ll Need:

• colored pencils

• wooden bookmark blanks

• my how to make a rosh hashana bookmark tutorial

• fixative of some kind (optional, I brushed some oil pastel fixative on just in case)

I do love the fish most of all, don’t you?
